QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Welcome to your New Beginning, Welcome to Project One Eleven
WHAT LEVEL CLASS DO I BELONG IN?
Good question! Each dancer, each dance school is different. The best way for us to place dancers in the appropriate classes is for you to take a class. The teacher will evaluate the student and recommend placement. Since it’s both frustrating and can lead to injury to dance at a technical level you’re not prepared for, it’s important for you and the rest of the class that every dancer to be placed at the appropriate level. If you took classes with us in a previous year, give us a call or stop by and we can give you your instructor’s level recommendations. Due to our particular studio leveling, a student can expect to spend at least 2-3 years in each level before being moved up by the instructor.
WHAT DO I WEAR/BRING TO CLASS?
Students are required to dress in the class uniform. Details on the dress code are available for each type of class in our “Student Handbook” given after enrollment.
WHERE CAN I FIND A LIST OF CLASSES, FEES, AND SCHEDULES?
All available classes are listed on the homepage of our website under “Classes.” Hover over the "Classes" Tab to get information about enrollment, fees, and our latest class schedule.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Enrollment for our 2022 Dance Season is currently closed, but feel free to check out our classes and see what you might be interested in. Come by the Studio during Open business hours (check our schedule on Home page) to meet with the staff and take a look around. Choose your classes, fill out the enrollment paperwork (at front desk), pay your tuition and you’re in! If you’re registering for a company level class, you will need to arrange an audition with the director or teacher to ensure that you’re enrolled in the proper level of study.
WHAT SAFETY STEPS IS PROJECT ONE ELEVEN TAKING DUE TO COVID-19?
We at Project One Eleven always focus on our number one concern: the safety of our students, families, and staff. Due to COVID-19, we are taking multiple precautions to keep everyone safe. We are still requiring all dancers, staff, and anyone entering our building to wear a mask while inside our studio unless you are vaccinated. We have masks available in adult and child sizes for those that need it. When you enter, you will be greeted by our front desk staff who will ensure that everyone (unvaccinated) is and remains masked in our building. Hand sanitizer is available in the dance room, as well as at the entrance/exit of the studio. We have changed the layout of our lobby to encourage social distancing and help traffic control. In addition to our already high-maintenance cleaning standards, often-touched areas will be sanitized even more frequently. We plan to continue all of these procedures until further notice from the CDC.
